My baptism day - 07Dec07

It was a joyous occasion! Finally, after many years, I can be baptised! Even though my parents were not there, I am still very grateful for my brothers and sisters and rebels to be there to witness this important event.

Rebels even surprised me! Initially, all of them either cannot come or will be tremendously late so I was rather disappointed, but yet (!) they came at 8.15pm! AW!!! I was very surprised though I didnt express it on my face. Your presence is the greatest gift. You know what? I prayed for all of you to come, and He answered my prayer!

I am so proud of my gifts that my dear fellow friends have given me.Take a look!

Both are calenders with verses for every day from (Gan Die DingLiang on the left and Pastor XiuZhu on the right). Pretty gifts for me to start my day.

(right) 'My Utmost for His Highest' by Oswald Chambers from 'C' girls, Shuhui & Raymond. haha! Initially when I saw weiying holding this book before baptism ceremony, I wanted to praise her for getting a good book like this to read. Never did I know, it's for me!

This notebook is from EnYing and Susan. I love this! I long to have notebook with different verses on different pages, and here it is! Thank you so much! This is an unexpected gift!

This is a box of little cards filled with bilingual verses by WeiLiang! When I was opening my presents, I was thinking would someone give me many many encouragement cards so that I can write for others? And here it is! Very thoughtful gift!

Today is an extremely elated day for me!I thought I would be feeling just happy, but it was much more than that! I was like sitting on the tip of the rocket and I am flying to the end of the Earth, nearer to God. Oh! I love baptism! And the presents too. Can I baptise again and receive so many presents again? haha!Just joking!
