look into your hands...

During tonight's prayer meeting,
Pastor HockChye told us to look into our hands...
what has God gave you?
Then draw a cross on one hand...

When I look into my hands,
I'm given nothing much.
When I look into my hands,
God says it's a pure heart.

When I drew a cross,
my heart aches.
When I drew a cross again,
God says I must take up the cross.
Taking up the cross on this uneven road.
(taking up the cross = facing trials and taking up burdens)

Then Pastor HockChye said
"We'll have a beautiful future!"
I said "Amen".
All things work for the good for those who love the Lord.

God gives me a pure heart, as pure as a child.
But also an empowered heart, to take up the cross.
He will not give me more than what I can bear.
At the end, the victory will be mine!
Because God is by my side.
