Alright. Some are making my toes tickle and some are making me scatch my tiny brain. Well, anyway. Since this is a random post. I'll share sth random too. =)

I really wanna make good friends this year. Strengthen my friendships, be a good friend to all others.
(A) I also wanna be PUNCTUAL!!!
(B) I also receive some thing from God telling me to S.L.O.W D.O.W.N this year.
But (A) & (B) sound so contradicting to me, precisely because I'm always rushing to be punctual, so when I start to slow down, I'll not be punctual.
Hmmm... Get it? Okie never mind. It's a complicated thing. Or maybe I'm just trying to come up with a lame excuse for either goal this year.

Oh yes! I wanna go KOREA this July too! For the ever exciting Korea Conference. It'll be my 1st time to Korea. And I've heard many wonderful things. I wanna go and see God in all countries!
So I'm working hard for more Moo-lah!!! ($)
Thinking of taking up another tuition... on top of my 3 tuitions.
I want another tuition from sec sch student.

And I bought a good retractable McKal mouse for ust $19.90 at Sim Lim Square and a very pretty pair of shoes for $26.90. I love my buys!

I've been MIA from my blog

for a long time.

Do u know that MIA (Missing in Action) actually is a status assigned to a member of the armed services who is reported missing following active service in a combat zone? That person is either killed, injuried or whatever.

Anyway, I've had a really exciting time in Dec and Jan!

Mount Kinabula Expedition!

As you can see, we had a really fun time!

Meeting up with long-long-never-see 4E1 peeps!

Most of us were here. But not the whole class though.

And last but not least, my incredible Taiwan trip!
Welcome to Taiwan!
We went to Taipei and Hua Lian.

This is Jay Chou's restaurant. The theme of the restaurant from the movie "The Secret", so there is the very rustic piano and etc. in it.


This is the "Modern Toilet" restaurant! Where all our food and drinks are served in "toilet bowls" and anything you can find in the toilet. Not mentioning that we're eating on a bathtub, and sitting on a real toilet bowl.


Hello Kitty Restaurant! They had Hello Kitty food! All their cakes and drinks have the Hello Kitty markings and some even come in the shape of the Hello Kitty head. Melissa is so happy about it. haha.


And talking about food, a must-go! Shi Lin Ye Shi!
It's like Bugis Street in Singapore, but it's all food!
They sell the famous hao da da ji pai, the ice shaving, the guan cai ban, oyster mee suan, etc.! I'm starting to salivate...
By the way, the handsome guy in white jacket is Yanxing!


We also went to the zoo. It's quite fun at the Insect Section where you really see insects crawling about, and also I saw my "friend" shan zhu (mountain pig). haha.


We also went to Dan Shui Yu Ren Ma Tou. There's the Qing Ren Qiao (Lovers' Bridge) where we pretended to be lovers and took lots of silly pictures. haha!

We are actually standing on the Qing Ren Qiao. It's actually an extended part of the white colour bridge. The white colour bridge brings us from one part of the main land to the opposite part of the island. And the wind is so strong that we literally get blown away!

Now at Hua Lian, we went...

to make Muah Chee! Those that you eat in Pasar Malam. THe method is easy, just throw in cooked rice and hit it till it becomes a lump. But the strength required and skill to make it into a lump is *tsk tsk* not easy, cuz the dough will stick to your stick that you can't even pull it out. Weiying always hit 1 time and then laugh for 1 min.


There's a very beautiful beach at Hua Lian too. The water is so clear, and there is a big clean patch of field for children to roll on. I litterally see young kids rolling on the field. So nice!


And this is Mei Hua Tree! It's so nice when it blossoms! I thought I can only see it it in Japan. :)

We also went cave walking. And it's actually a very dangerous cave because the rocks above will tumble down suddenly. This is one of the aftereffect of one of the more serious tumbles that happened before. Dangerous!

Anyway, I really enjoyed my days so far. And school is back to haunt me AGAIN.

I'm so addicted

to Jelly!

He's my dearest pet in "Pet Society" of facebook.
Oh I'm so addicted to him.
He's my only worry throughout my whole exam period.
And now, when all exams are over, "Jelly! Mummy's back!"

You know you can race him in the stadium and make him jump over the hundles.
And he'll have flies all over him if I don't bath him too often.
He'll just fall asleep if he gets tired.
And he smiles!

I have to see him like every day!
Gosh! I think I am so addicted to Jelly!

It was so timely!
Just a few minutes ago, the bulb of my room just kept blinking and blinking, and then proof(!), it's gone!

Thank God that this happens just 1 day after my exam!
Woo!
Yes! My torturous exams are over!!!

I couldn't help but recall how many friends I've spoken to who totally agree that Uni is so much harder.
While I was struggling during my A's, the many older generations totally convinced me that uni is really a breeze. But oh man! It's like a tsunami! It's totally chaotic and tense throughout the whole semester. Never a chance to let yourself loose, you know, have some really good fun.
Not saying that they bluff me, but perhaps things change.

The education system is really stretching my limits.
Thank God I have God!
And congrats, Connie, Jasmine, Zhenhua and Chuanyan for completing your exams just today!

Decision Making

Which of the following options do you choose?
A: A sure loss of $100

You might wonder where did I get these random questions. I study them! Got this from my text & lecture note.
Prospect theory: The amount of joy when you gain $100 is lesser than the amount of sadness when losing $100

In question 1 & 2,
if you choose Option A, it is a less risky decision. (Risk Aversion)
if you choose Option B, it is a more risky decision. (Risk Seeking)
Are you the Risk Aversion type or Risk Seeking type?

Most of the people will choose Option A (in Qn1) & Option B (in Qn 2).
The rational is this, "if I'm gonna lose anyway, why not gamble my loss? I might be that lucky lass to not lose anything!"

But if you realise also, for both questions, if you pick Option A, you'll surely get $400.

Actually life is like a gamble. Sometimes you'll have to 'bet' on something and make a decision weighing the pros and cons. But I know my life is in control because I have a higher Power taking care of me.
